Lisa Diaz is a proud Puerto Rican woman in the diaspora, rooted in the belief that healing is both personal and collective.
Her work is shaped by both lived experience and over a decade in the social work field, supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, survival, and systemic stress. Throughout her career, she has worked with survivors of domestic and gender-based violence, supported families involved with the Department of Children and Families, and now provides individual therapy to adults seeking deeper, more intentional healing.
Again and again, she has witnessed the same pattern: women who are capable, giving, and deeply committed to others — yet carrying overwhelming stress, disconnection from their bodies, and the quiet belief that they must hold everything together on their own.
Reclaim Your Narrative was created as a response to that reality.
It is a space for heart-led women to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to themselves. A space where healing is not rushed, not forced, and not reduced to surface-level coping, but approached with care, depth, and intention.
For many of us, our relationship with our bodies and our energy has been shaped — and often constrained — by legacies of colonization, trauma, and generational survival. We have inherited patterns of silence, self-sacrifice, and over-functioning. And alongside those, we have also inherited resilience, ritual, intuition, and deep wisdom.
This work is about creating the space to reconnect with those parts of ourselves.
Through the integration of trauma-informed care, EMDR, somatic practices, and yoga philosophy, Lisa guides women in restoring balance within their nervous systems and their lives. Her approach honors both the clinical and the cultural, recognizing that healing is not just about the mind, but about the body, the stories we carry, and the systems we have lived within.
This is work that asks for presence.
For honesty.
For a willingness to move beyond simply understanding your patterns and into truly shifting them.
It is also work that honors your pace.
women who are no longer willing to pour from an empty cup, and who understand that caring for themselves is not selfish, but necessary.
Women who are ready to feel more present.
More grounded.
More connected to themselves and the people they love.
You do not need to fix yourself.
You are not broken.
This is about remembering yourself, and learning to live from a place of alignment, intention, and embodied truth.
Lisa is honored to walk alongside you in that remembering.
